Industries

Institutions with a statutory duty and no room for failure

Our clients are not buying technology to gain a competitive edge. They are meeting an obligation to citizens under public scrutiny, on a deadline usually set by law.

Who we serve

Seven audiences, one common condition

In each case the consequence of failure is public, the timetable is externally imposed, and the system will be scrutinised by people who did not procure it.

Architecture

One platform, many mandates

These sectors are usually procured separately and then discover they need the same foundational identity, the same trust services and the same integration layer.

Operating conditions

We design for the environment, not the brochure

National programmes in the markets we serve face conditions rarely represented in a vendor demonstration. These are treated as requirements, not exceptions.

Intermittent connectivity

Field sites offline for days. Offline-first capture with deterministic reconciliation and conflict rules defined in advance.

Unreliable power

Battery endurance, safe shutdown, data integrity across power loss, and equipment specified for the actual thermal environment.

Peak-load events

Election day, registration deadlines and school enrolment windows produce demand several multiples above steady state. Sized for the peak.

Adversarial scrutiny

Opposition parties, litigants, journalists and auditors will test the system’s claims. It should be built to survive that.

Engagement models

How institutions typically start with us

Independent architecture review

A short engagement assessing an existing or proposed architecture against the mission: interoperability, lock-in exposure, security posture, capacity realism and lifecycle cost. Delivered as a written assessment the client can put in front of an oversight body.

Lock-in assessment & exit planning

For institutions already dependent on a single supplier. What is genuinely proprietary, what is merely undocumented, what data can be liberated now, and what an incremental path to a standards-based integration layer looks like without interrupting live services.

Requirements & procurement support

Requirements engineering, target architecture and procurement-ready technical specifications, plus evaluation criteria and panel support. Because we do not sell product, we can write the specification and stay out of the bid.

Full programme integration

End-to-end delivery under the Q‑Integrate™ methodology: design through integration, FAT, deployment, SAT, training and lifecycle support, with Qcuboyds as the single accountable integrator across all suppliers.

Assurance & technical due diligence

For funders, primes and oversight bodies: independent verification that a programme is where it claims to be, that acceptance criteria were met, and that the delivered system matches the architecture that was approved.

Bring us the mission, the constraints and the timeline. We will return an independent architecture assessment — not a product quotation.
